Days of the Dead – Las Vegas 2025

With the holiday season being over and the start of a new year it is time to look forward to what new spooky events are on the calendar.  Just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than by attending the Days of the Dead horror convention in Las Vegas? This can’t-miss event brings together the best of Hollywood and horror, offering a unique and unforgettable experience. Taking place at the legendary Plaza Hotel and Casino from Friday January 17th – Sunday the 19th.

One highly anticipated event is the Revenge of the Nerds reunion. While this is a horror con, I love that we are getting a 1980s classic film’s cast to attend.

Another big reunion is the cast of Return of the Living Dead (celebrating the movie’s 40th Anniversary). A popular Q and A sessions will be the one with Kane Hodder from Friday the 13th masked fame on Friday, Greg Nicotero (most known for The Walking Dead) on Saturday, and on Sunday John Kassir of Tales from the Crypt. Other notable include: Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Tom Skeritt (Alien), David Naughton (An American Werewolf in London), and Ace Frehley of the band Kiss.

In addition to panels and guests, numerous vendors will be on hand for convention attendees to purchase spooky goodies. The Nerd Bar is always hosting a pub crawl on Saturday that navigates down Fremont Street. POSE photo opportunities are also available for purchase.
